Drawing & Painting Workshops

My drawing and painting workshops provide you with basic drawing skills, following which I will introduce you the classical painting technique which has been used by many of the Old Masters for 3 hundred years. The technique allows for more control of the media and applied skillfully will produce a painting with deep undertones which are impossible to achieve using less rigorous methods.

Prior to you launching into the painting of your own masterpiece I will guide you through the various media (oils and acrylics) as well as the theory of colour mixing. Once through the basics you will have the opportunity to decide on a subject, sketch it out and then bring it to life on the canvas with all the help and guidance that I can give you.

In the structured environment of one of my painting workshops, I will help reawaken your creative side - most people are absolutely amazed by the results. Come therefore and watch transfixed as your long lost, artistic child blossoms within you. Some of you might be interested in coming on safari with me where we stay in the most beautiful lodges and learn to paint beneath the spreading boughs of a fever tree, taking inspiration from the wildlife and the African savannah.
